Don’t purge
I gave myself a literal hole in my diaphragm the size of a golf ball and my colon stuck into it because I purged everyday.
I got home and was a little drunk but purged, and this is when my colon went into the hole in the top of my diaphragm and I began puking violently, shivering, I wasn’t coherent, asked for an ambulance which scared my dad because he knows I never want to go to the hospital let alone call an ambulance, and in so much chest pain and abdominal pain.
The surgery was awful, the chest tube was the WORST (it was against my lung, and in for 4 days, and when they took it out I literally passed out from the pain)
I only say this so others will know that it CAN HAPPEN TO YOU
And you think you’d be fine with it, and you kind of are afterwards, but you realize you NEVER want to experience that pain AGAIN (the morphine shots hurt a lot, the surgery itself, the pain meds make you constipated so they give you laxatives which kind of triggered me bc I used to abuse them) I use these tags so that this post will reach those who need it most.
Just, please. Don’t. Purge.
